Ojo – a final jury member for this year’s M&M Global Awards (see below) – has relocated from London to New York to take up the role of global senior vice president.

It follows the huge $12.5bn merger between Coty and Procter & Gamble’s specialist beauty business, the latter of which included brands such as CoverGirl and Clairol.

Ojo spent just over a year in the role of senior global director for Knorr, where she led the development of the food brand’s ‘Love at First Taste’ campaign, with the aim of reaching a new Millennial audience.

She joined Unilever from FMCG rival Reckitt Benckiser, where she held the role of global brand director for its Durex and KY sexual wellbeing brands. Prior to this, Ojo spent seven years in marketing roles at General Mills.

Speaking to M&M Global earlier this year, Ojo explained how she approaches the opportunities and challenges posed by social media influencers.
