Vizeum is increasing its APAC presence by opening a new office in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam – the network’s eighteenth in the region.

The office, which will be led by newly-appointed managing director of Vizeum Vietnam Navin Dhanpal, will bring together the Vizeum regional team to service Dentsu Aegis Network’s Vietnamese clients, including Abbott, Panasonic and Manulife.

Dhanpal previously worked as Vizeum Vietnam executive director and Dentsu Aegis Network executive planning director.

“The people in Vietnam are living in a digital landscape and marketers are looking for solutions that go beyond our original understanding of media,” said Dhanpal.

“This is a big challenge for Vizeum Vietnam but an even bigger opportunity for us to support our key clients in the market by driving business growth and results.”

Vizeum APAC chief executive officer Kristian Barnes commented that the region’s ad spend continues to grow with a shift towards “media-plus” solutions.

“The launch of the new office allows Vizeum to position itself strategically in the centre of a dynamic market that will allow us to show our potential,” he added.
