World Media Group (WMG) has revealed the final panel of judges for the inaugural World Media Awards, which aim to recognise the best international, content-driven communications campaigns.
A selection of senior clients from Nissan, Shell and Deutsche Telekom will be joined by agency and media owner leaders, as well as M&M Global’s managing director, publishing, Jeremy King.
Nicolas Sennegon, president of WMG and global managing director at The Economist, said: “We are delighted to have such high calibre judges for the World Media Awards.
The deadline for entries – see more details here – is 21 January 2016, with judging due to take place in February. The winners will be announced at an exclusive, invitation-only reception on Wednesday 16 March at The Ham Yard Hotel in Soho, London.
The jury – headed up by Alex Altman (pictured), managing director at MEC Global Solutions, Chris Carmichael, global head of media at HSBC, and Matt McAllester, European editor at Newsweek – will also select an overall Grand Prix winner.
“In particular, with a number of senior client marketers from Shell, Nissan and LVMH among others taking a seat on the panel, it demonstrates the importance of content-driven marketing in today’s international marketer’s media mix.
“Every one of our judges has great expertise in global content-driven advertising and their views on each entry will be invaluable – no doubt creating interesting debate as we go through the entries.”
