Rocket Fuel has announced the appointment of Nektan chief executive David Gosen as its senior vice president and International managing director.

 

Gosen, who has led a range of digital and media companies, including Nielsen, Microsoft and BskyB, will oversee all international business and operational activities and lead the sales functions.

“I’m excited to be joining Rocket Fuel at this pivotal moment in the company’s journey,” said Gosen. “Rocket Fuel has best in class technology at its heart and I relish the opportunity to bring these benefits to more of our brand and agency customers across EMEA, and the globe.

“The international region has seen strong growth over recent years and my role will be to cement and build on this to secure Rocket Fuel’s leadership in this market.”

RocketFuel CEO Randy Wootton said the company is continuing to invest in International business, expecting Gosen’s division to be “a strong growth engine”.

“David brings over 20 years’ experience and has been responsible for significant revenue acceleration for some of the world’s most exciting brands,” commented Wootton, adding that Gosen will help accelerate the firm’s transformation “from a network to a cloud-based software company”.

Gosen will take over from executive vice president Richard Frankel, who has been acting as interim. This news follows EMEA and emerging markets senior vice president and general manager Dominic Trigg stepping down to spend more time with his family in March 2016.
