We caught up with GUT to find out what it meant to them to be first independent agency to win the Grand Prix for Agency of the Year at Festival of Media LatAm Awards 2021, how they’ve amplified their win and where they will be displaying their trophies in pride of place.
What does it feel like to have you work/business deemed the best by industry peers and clients?
It is amazing to be recognised by our peers and clients. As you may know, we are an independent agency that only started 4 years ago. To compete with holding companies 10 times the size with a long standing history is something we never thought imaginable.
The recognition not only has given us confidence but also helped us understand that our company vision (culture) is on the right path.
What benefits do you believe winning a Festival of Media gold trophy will provide your company?
Our goal as a company is to be the most creative independent Agency in the world and to reach that we don’t just want to be a department but apply a mindset to the whole agency and apply this to out clients too, as we always says clients are also creative. This award showed that we are going in the right direction, we are thinking creativeness through media and others departments of GUT.
How will you market your success?
The buzz from the award was amazing. The industry already marketed it for us, now we are preparing all our social media.
What has been the immediate impact on your business?
We are competing against big and strong media groups, winning the award shows that we have a strong media department. We can play in the big leagues.
How did you celebrate your win?
We celebrated a lot. As this was our first media award It was an exciting online meeting. We will try our best to win next year so that we can celebrate in person too!
Have you decided where you will display your trophy in pride of place?
We are preparing a special place in our new office
