Festival of Media North America Awards finalists revealed

The inaugural Festival of Media North America Awards will celebrate excellence across the region with impressive entries from the United States and Canada.

Headed by Rob Rakowitz, global media director, Mars, the jury will preside over North America’s best work from brands, media owners and agencies.

Ensuring that this year’s jury is in keeping with the Festival’s inclusive ethos 58% of this year’s jurors are female, while the The MasterCard NYC Tech Hub will play host for the judging on 28 November 2017 when they will review the submissions.

The winners will be announced in a themed awards ceremony on the 30 November at the Metropolitan West in New York City. Guests are invited to a ‘Night Circus’ to network with peers and celebrate the industry’s best work. The evening will also see the winners of the Festival of Media’s Best of 2017 awards, which are honouring the best campaigns over all the awards editions of 2017 with just five prestigious trophies to be won.

During the day of 30 November Festival of Media is bringing its critically acclaimed advertiser-only training initiative, FOM Brand Lab to New York, to educate brands on the evolving media landscape across North America.

Essentially it is to help advertisers improve their media understanding and marketing capability; become better clients to their media agencies; learn how to create efficient and innovative marketing teams and how to navigate the new media landscape. It will run throughout the day and sessions will range from programmatic and TV to use of AI and VR in marketing campaigns to brand safety and creating an efficient in-house marketing team.

To apply for a pass to the FOM Brand Lab sessions you must work in a marketing role for an advertiser and can do so free of charge by selecting the Brand Delegate drop down upon registration.
