Diageo has awarded the global creative account of its Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker to Anomaly following a pitch.
BBH, which has held the account for 15 years, was invited to participate in the review alongside BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather and Wieden + Kennedy.
Guy Escolme, Johnnie Walker’s global brand director, said in a statement: “We were hugely impressed by the far-reaching creative vision which Anomaly proposed for our brand and with the strategic thinking that lies behind its development.”
The brand spent $40m in measured media in 2013.
Johnnie Walker has worked with Anomaly New York in the past, which created its ‘Gentleman’s Wager’ video featuring English actor Jude Law.
