Publicis Groupe-owned BBH has appointed long-serving Ogilvy & Mather boss Chee Yan Yi as its new general manager for Asia Pacific.

Yan Yi has spent over 20 years with Ogilvy in locations such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore. She most recently held the role of managing partner, running Ogilvy’s SingTel.

She replaces Frances Great, who is moving to a transferring to a role with BBH in the US. Yan Yi will join the ad agency on 2 March and report to John Hatfield.
