CP+B moves Jason De Turris to Hong Kong-based chief strategy officer role

Crispin Porter + Bogusky (CP+B) has appointed Jason De Turris to the role of chief strategy officer, with a remit to build the ad agency’s presence in Asia.

De Turris moves from his role at VP, executive planning director, based at the agency’s US headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, and will relocate to Hong Kong.

He will oversee the global strategy for Nissan-owned luxury car brand Infiniti, which appointed CP+B to its global account in Octover. De Turris will focus on the opening of CP+B’s Hong Kong office and the expansion of the agency across the region.

De Turris joined CP+B in 2011, having previously held senior planning roles at JWT, Deutsch and Ogilvy & Mather.A new head of planning for North America at CP+B will be appointed in the “near future”, according to the agency.

CP+B president Steve Erich said: “Jason is a courageous and strategic thinker who is able to combine all the necessary elements for understanding and moving a brand forward through different challenges and across multiple cultures.

“Winning Infiniti was a team effort and he played an instrumental role in making it happen. Which all together makes him a terrific person to help lead CP+B’s physical entry into Asia. This really begins a new chapter for CP+B.”

CP+B has offices in Los Angeles, London, São Paulo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen and Stockholm, with a Shanghai operation soon to open doors.
