Havas Media Group India wins OCM media business

Havas Media Group India has won the integrated media business of fashion and textile business OCM India following a multi-agency pitch.

The account includes both traditional and digital media duties.

Founded in 1924, OCM claims to be India’s largest fabric manufacturer, producing a range of Indian and international clothing designs.

Speaking on the appointment, Debashis Paul, head of marketing, OCM India said: “OCM has to communicate to the new generation customers across the country and build traction in the offline and online space. There is also the task of creating niche suiting brands like Piacenza from Italy and Burlington from USA brought to India by OCM.

“We were looking for a media agency team that would be passionate about the fashion space and keen to build a strong brand. The Havas Media team understood our needs. Their category expertise and attitude toward value creation in media made them our agency of choice.”

Havas Media recently retained the MTS India account and won the digital duties of Businessworld magazine.
