Havas Media Asia Pacific has appointed Dennis Potsgraven to the role of head of strategy for Hong Kong.

Potsgraven, who is relocating from the agency’s Amsterdam office, will be responsible for overseeing strategy development for key local and regional clients including LG Electronics, AXA and Shangri La.

The former Nestle marketer joined Havas Media in 2012, and has led the strategy for clients such as Reckitt Benckiser, Danone and Disney.

He will report to both Havas Media Hong Kong chief strategy officer SK Biswas and managing director Jason Kwong.

Biswas said: “Dennis already has an in depth understanding of our strategic tools and processes and has extensive experience working in sophisticated European markets like Germany, France and the Netherlands. This coupled with his interest in working in Asia, will make him a big asset for our Hong Kong office.”

Kwong added: “We are incredibly fortunate that Dennis has decided to relocate to Hong Kong. He combines impeccable credentials with great passion and we are looking forward to working with him.”
