Mindshare APAC has appointed Sudesh Puthran as managing director, Mindshare Philippines.
Puthran is currently chief client officer for Mindshare Indonesia and will succeed Sunitha Gopalakrishnan in his new role, who has decided to move on after a tenure of over five years.
Puthran has worked in the network for close to a decade and has over 16 years experience across India, Middle East, and South East Asia with high-profile brands such as Unilever, LOreal, and Coca Cola. He will report into Himanshu Shekhar – CEO Mindshare ASEAN, and Puneet Arora , GroupM CEO Philippines.
Shekhar said: As a seasoned Mindshare talent, [Puthran] is well placed to chart the new journey for Mindshare Philippines. He has been instrumental in transforming Mindshares product across platform.
His passion for data and his ability to source solutions makes him an invaluable leadership talent. I am confident that under his leadership Mindshare Philippines will reach new heights and create new opportunities for our clients and stakeholders in the Philippines.
Puthran will take up his new role on 15 June.
Also joining Mindshare Philippines is Abhishek Gupta, who takes up the position of managing director - Team Unilever.
Gupta has been involved with Unilever regional work for many years. He has over 12 years of experience in media and has worked extensively across the region. Gupta will report into Puthran.
