Mindshare leads shortlist for Festival of Media Asia Awards 2015

Mindshare leads the nominations for this year’s Festival of Media Asia Pacific Awards with 20 shortlisted pieces of work, four more than the second best-represented agency, Starcom Mediavest Group.

The GroupM agency has secured five nominations for its ‘Wall’s on Waze’ campaign for Unilever ice cream brand alone, including Best Communications Strategy, Best Engagement Strategy and Best Use of Digital Media.

Second-placed Starcom has secured 16 nominations for its work, while MediaCom is in third with 15 nominations, and OMD is in fourth with 13.

Bohemia Group, meanwhile, makes its FOMA Awards debut, scooping four nominations.

The number of brands represented stands at 64, up from 60 in 2014, while campaigns from Japan and Vietnam are on the list for the first time.

There is also a big increase in nominated campaigns from China, New Zealand and Indonesia, while Australian have again struck big with a large number of nominations.

This year’s FOMA Awards include two new categories: Best Content Creation Award and Best Use of Video.
