Interpublic Group agency BPN has appointed Rob Kabus as its global chief executive.

Kabus, who was most recently president and chief marketing officer at Eleven, will work with the global BPN leadership team and oversee the network’s North America operations.

In an internal memo announcing the appointment to Interpublic’s employees, Matt Seiler, global chief executive said: “He’s a proven strategist, driven by a creative and media-savvy mind, backed by an impressive resume spanning over 25 years.”

Kabus has also held the role of president and head of strategy at Vizeum, where he focused on consumer behaviours and engagement.

Kabus will start his new role in November and will be based in New York.

The hire follows the departure of former BPN chief executive Mauricio Sabogal earlier this year.
