Former Mondelez International global media innovations director Pete Mitchell has joined content marketing agency Kudos as partner.
Mitchell, who also operated as the Mondelez’s APAC head of media, left the snacking firm in November after a “mutually agreed decision”.
The former UM and Ogilvy leader joined Mondelez in January 2014, and was located in Singapore, working as part of Bonin Bough’s global media team.
During his tenure, the Cadbury-owner carried out a number of media ‘firsts’, including what it claimed was the first programmatically-purchased Super Bowl TV ad for Oreo.
Prior to joining Mondelez, Mitchell was based in Chicago, running the BP’s global digital account on behalf of GroupM’s Mindshare.
Singapore-based Kudos Content focuses on “rapidly-growing” markets in Asia and the Middle East, and is led by founder and former MediaCom regional director Lee Boden.
Mitchell wrote on his LinkedIn profile: “At the start of 2016 I joined Kudos as an equity Partner to help build this exciting company to its full potential within the rapidly changing world of Content Generation and what that truly means to clients for their Marketing Communications.”
