Whats your track record? Three successful businesses prior to Powr of You, and one failed business. During this time we also, accumulated over 14 years of management consulting experience at Deloitte and Accenture

What do they say? Powr of You is a data marketplace where brands and consumers can learn and earn from each other.

What does this mean? Consumers today use multiple devices, platforms and apps, and are becoming more aware of the value of their data. And brands are struggling to understand the connected consumer journeys and how best to reach their consumers.

With Powr of You, brands learn about their consumers’ cross-platform habits, interests, and media consumption to make data backed decisions to improve marketing ROI. Brands also earn consumer confidence and loyalty by being consumer privacy champions.

Consumers learn about their online footprint and quantified self through visualisations, while they earn rewards with our revenue share model.

What makes your company different to its competitors? We provide brands access to ‘actual’ consumer behaviour analysis, rather than ‘claimed’ behaviour along with providing a unified view across platforms, media and channels.

How could your company change the world? Data is the currency of the future and we’re helping people understand the value of this personal asset.

Who do you compete with? There are a few other people working in this space. We think what we’re doing is quite different. We’ve been told by an agency, we’re building the “holy grail of marketing”, bringing marketeers closer to their consumers. We’re truly building the world’s first consumer data hub, powered by people.

Who should be worried? Data brokers and other analytics companies who use consumer data without giving anything back should we worried from a consumer point of view. People should benefit from their data and have a choice to share it.

If you could choose any investor globally, who would it be? It would have to be Google Ventures. They have by far the largest scope of businesses while retaining incredible amount of support and guidance for their businesses. Given the close ties to Google, it would be invaluable in building out incredible tech and insights from the rich data we are bringing together – we can work together to organize the world’s information without being evil

If you could poach any member of staff from any company in the world, who would it be? Mark Zuckerberg since he has built a B2B and B2C company based on providing a delightful service to both and successfully done so at scale – that’s our goal!
